Our annual Senior Dinner Dance. The Bedford Rotary Club, President, Ginny Clerkin, is welcomed to a Joint Rotary meeting in Burlington by Burlington Rotary President, Beverlee Vidoli. Durling the meeting, the BHS Select Singers (Standing in the background), under the direction of John Middleton-Cox entertained the members Burlington Rotary Club President, Beverlee Vidoli joins BHS Interact President, Kayla Carnell, gavel open the annual joint meeting of the two community service groups at the BHS Library. Members and families of Burlington Rotary Club members assembled at Birchcrest Senior Housing for their Annual Landscaping and mulching.  Rotarians have been doing this service project to help Burlington seniors for almost 10 years.  (Nicholas Karwan Photo) The 2009 GSE Team from South Africa visits our club. Our annual Friday Nite at the Fights fund raiser. Our annual Golf Tourney fund raiser. Our Club's first annual Road Race. Held in conjunction with 2009-10 Annual Installation meeting. Outgoing Club President Beverlee Vidoli receives a Our Club hosted a Special Olympics softball tournament in Burlington. Rotary Club sponsored teams from South Norwood, Natick, Melrose and our Club's two teams played all afternoon with awards for every player and a BBQ sponsored by our Club. (Tigges Photo) About 30 Club members and their guests staged a suprise party for Club member Sean Toomey and his bride-to-be a few days before their marriage. The event took place at Flatbread Restaurant in Bedford, where Sean is the general manager. Our Club's presentation at this year's

Our club made its annual outing to the Lowell Spinners baseball game at LeLacheur Park again this year. After a delicious meal at the stadium's Club President David Morison presenting a check for $2,000 to members of Minuteman Services. This money was raised by Burlington Rotary members and friends who participated in this year's Both Burlington Rotary Club Presidents, Kevin Buckley of the breakfast club and David Morison of the 50 year old lunch club, join together to give each Kindergarten teacher in town $50.00 to purchase incidental teaching materials. Dictionary Days...Francis Wyman School's third graders were thrilled to receive their own dictionaries from the Burlington Rotary Club. Woburn Portrait Artist, Gina Johnson, was the featured speaker at this day's meeting. She told us about her Operation Home Ties project to honor the memory of all our hometown heroes. Her talk and a display of her work were well received.  (KarwanPhotos.com) The Burlington Rotary Club sponsored their innaugral Trivia Night fundraiser at the Billerica Elks on Saturday night. The contest was won by the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn. Proceeds from this event will be used for scholarships and community service projects.  (KarwanPhotos.com) This year's Burlington-Lexington Rotary Luncheon preceeding the Thanksgiving Day football game between the two town's High School teams. thanksgiving dinners. The Burlington Rotary Club  in cooperation with the Burlington Food Pantry, Shaw’s, and the UCC church, donated 149 turkey’s to the families in need in Burlington so they can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving
meal. The local Cub Scout Troop 555 raised money for over 150 pies. Picking up the turkeys at Shaw's Super Market in Burlington before taking them to The UCC Church. Special thanks are due Steve Duran (front row-left)  the manager of Shaw’s.
