The 2006 year's Senior Citizen Dinner Dance, was attended by over 200 happy guests from Burlington, some shown here enjoying a line dance...  Woburn boxer, Kevin Ryan, delivers a jab to his opponent at the Burlington Rotary Club Once again Burlington Rotarians donated and spread bark mulch on the shrub beds at both of Burlington's senior citizen housing facilities on Birchcrest Road. It was a beatiful evening for the American Cancer Society's  all night long Burlington Rotarians manned the grill on Sunday,
May 21, 2006 at the Burlington Police Department's open house for the town's residents.

2006 Golf Tourney held at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire. A major fund raising event for our club.
June 6, 2006 was The gavel changes hands as outgoing President of the Original Rotary Club of Burlington Paul Swanfeldt (L) hands the gavel to incoming President Bob Hogan at the recent Installation of Officers held at the Marriott Hotel here in Burlington. Braving the rain, Burlington Rotarians took part in the June 10, 2006 Lahey Clinic Cancer walk.

Rotary Club of Burlington's President Bob Hogan presents checks for $35.00 to each of the Fox Hill School's Kindergarten teachers. The funds will be used to purchase classroom supplies. Burlington Rotary Club President, Bob Hogan, presents a check for $2000 to Burlington Police RAD officers, Steve Cross, Keith Sheppard and Glen Mills. Our Club is proud to be a sponsor of the upcoming RAD (Rape Aggression Defence)  classes for women to be held in October 2006. Once again, The Burlington Rotary Club gave every third grader in the Burlington Public Schools their own Webster's dictionary.
At the District Installation, Club President Paul Swanfeldt presented outgoing District Governor Dave Fionda with this sweet bicycle to help with him train for his annual Jimmy Fund Pan Mass Challenge bike ride. The Outgoing District Governor Dave Fionda and Club President Paul Swanfeldt present the Governor's banner to the Wilmington Rotary Club's incoming President John Vassallo and new District 7930 Governor Donna Wayman, also of the Wilmington Club, at the District installation ceremony in June 2006. Rotarians give a big Burlington Rotary has supported Operation Concern at Hanscom Air Force Base for the past several years. Operation Concern helps active duty families while their loved ones are deployed.
A joint meeting with the Lexington Rotary Club was held in Lexington, just before the annual Thanksgiving Day football game between Burlington and Lexington. Pictured here are players from Burlington (left) and Lexington (right) along with club Presidents, team coaches and school officials Italian high school students visited their counterparts at Burlington High School. Here they are enjoying a welcoming BBQ finaced in part thru funds from the Burlington Rotary club. The Original Rotary Club of Burlington recently honored long-time Burlington resident Charlie Hanafin for exemplifying the Rotary Motto of Service Above Self.
