Burlington Rotarians met at Birchcrest Apartments and Towers to perform their Annual Spring Landscaping for the residents. 16 Rotarians, led by incoming President, Paul Swanfeldt, cleaned up and spread 15 yards of mulch on all the flower beds of this senior citizen's complex.  Burlington Rotary President Rick Karwan congratulates Rotarians Roger Bell and Ed Flanagan on becoming Paul Harris Fellows, the highest award that Rotarians can receive. Our Club's 2005 Annual Golf Tournament was a major fund raiser again this year. Here, event Chairman Andy Weiner gets the golfers started. Past President Roger Bell was declared our club's Burlington's Bill Boudreau receives our club's outstanding citizen of the year award for 2004-5 at the end of year dinner meeting.
At our club's end of year dinner meeting at the Burlington Marriot Hotel, Paul Swanfeldt, incoming Club President for 2004-5 receives the gavel from Past President Rick Karwan. Burlington Rotary sponsored another Burlington Rotarians and family members attended a Lowell Spinners baseball game, preceeded by dinner in the ballpark's As the 2005-6 school year begins, President Paul Swanfeldt presents a Rotary Club check to help buy supplementary kindergarten supplies at Burlington's  Memorial School.

Our club gave every third grader in the school system a dictionary of their own this year. Ten teenagers, from near Belfast, Northern Ireland, all members of  Our Club hosted the Annual Burlington-Lexington Rotary Thanksgiving Football Luncheon at Burlington's new Hilton Garden Inn.

Burlington Rotary provided frozen turkeys and groceries to needy families in Burlington in conjunction with People Helping People's Food Pantry. At our club's last meeting of the year we welcomed District Governor Dave Fionda back to his home club. Dave gave us a run down on his experiences visiting and speaking at meetings of the 47 other clubs in our Rotary District since September.
