Members of the Burlington High School's Interact Club collected over fifty pairs of white socks which are welcomed by many of the patients in the Bedford Veteran's Administration Hospital. This was a holiday season community service project. Burlington Rotary Partners with Lahey Clinic for Breast Cancer Awareness in October. Lahey Clinic's Admin. Director, Cancer services, David Fernandez and DrAnna K. Chacko, Chairman of Radiology Dept join Burlington Rotary President Roger Bell in the Kick Off to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. People Helping People's Jay Barnes joins Rotarians Phil Malonson, Steve Belmonte, Betty Bullock, Kevin McKelvey and President Roger Bell for the PHP turkey dinner give away. PHP furnishes the 'fixings' while Burlington Rotarians delivered 110 turkeys generously donated by Shaw's Supermarkets. Burlington High School Interact Officers, VP Kerry Lyons and President Stephanie Smith recieve a matching funds check from Rotary President Roger Bell for their raising of $750 in their recent Walk for Hunger project.
