MULCHING PARTY

Our Club held its annual Birchcrest senior citizens housing shrub bed cleanup and mulching. The event was chaired by Roy Swanfeldt with Rotarian volunteers. This year's annual fundraiser, held at the Elks Hall in Billerica, attracted over 300 people who enjoyed a six course meal, raffles and numerous three round boxing matches between young men from the local area, and a few women boxers too.

SENIOR CITIZENS' DINNER DANCE

February 12, 2012

Irene Gaffney, Rose DeLuco, Aline Beck and Alice Brook were four of the 200 Burlington Seniors who cut loose at the Rotary Senior Citizen Valentines Dinner Dance held at the Wilmington K of C. They gave a big "thumbs up" to our Club for hosting them at this annual event.

HOLIDAY SONGS

At this club meeting we were priviledged to the Burlington High School Select Singers as our lunch guests. This group of teen aged singers is led by chorus director John Middleton-Cox (front-center) serenaded the club with holiday music and let the Rotarians join them for a few songs.

BURLINGTON-LEXINGTON ROTARY JOINT MEETING

November 18, 2011

The 39th installment of the Burlington/Lexington Football Rivalry kicks off on Thanksgiving Day in Burlington. Both towns' Rotary Clubs hosted a joint meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn in Burlington to celebrate this rich tradition.
